Why is migration free?
Most MSPs treat migration as a profit center. We treat it as a handshake. A one-off migration would make us a vendor, whereas a service agreement makes us a partner. A long-term partnership is healthier in every way — we're just the ones willing to show it.
What's the catch?
A 12-month managed IT agreement. That's it. No bait-and-switch, no tiered pricing, no "up to 10 users" fine print. Standard-lane delivery covers up to 150 users, up to 2TB of file data, and a single production cutover wave. Anything materially more complex is scoped separately before work begins — no surprise change orders.
How fast can you start?
Discovery kickoff within 5 business days of inquiry. Firm quote within 48 hours of discovery. Typical 1–25 user cutover happens within 2–3 weeks of scope lock. Larger engagements follow our 90-day transition roadmap.
What happens if I cancel before 12 months?
The migration project fee becomes due retroactively at our published rate. That's the only commitment piece — if you stay the 12 months, you never see a migration invoice. Most MSPs require 24–36 month commitments to offer anything close to this; we're comfortable with 12 because we're confident in the work.
What's not included in the standard lane?
Device rebuilds and new workstation deployments. Entra join overhauls, Intune MDM remediation from scratch. PST excavation, printer setup, VPN troubleshooting, line-of-business app remediation. Archive cleanup, SharePoint information-architecture rebuilds, identity redesigns. These are real projects that get quoted separately and honestly — not stuffed into "migration scope" with hidden change orders. Everything else — mail, files, identity, standard Intune, Teams, SharePoint, discovery, pilot, cutover, validation, hypercare — is covered.
What about very small teams (1–5 people)?
Same deal. A 3-person team gets the same free migration as a 150-person team. Our per-user pricing scales from $189–249/user/month, and break-even on a small-team migration is under a month of MRR. The math works at every size — there's no minimum.
Why would anyone pay project-only pricing, then?
They probably shouldn't. If you just want the project done, we're still 50–80% cheaper than typical MSP project quotes because our pricing is openly published — no "request a quote" wall. But if you sign a managed IT agreement instead, it's $0. The math is uncomfortable on purpose.
